Last Thursday we met with Paul Whitney of Whitney Architecture to review his first set of drawings. We're really excited about how this house will turn out! This is the first round of drawings, so they will certainly be changed and refined as we move through the design process.

| It looks like we'll take the roof off and put on a shed roof to gain some ceiling height and make the house look more modern. The entry will also be moved to the lower level. |

| Here is the upper level floorplan, with the sketches Stacie has made to tweak the layout and provide feedback to the architect. It's surprising how a seemingly large space can be so tight when trying to fit in all the rooms and features you want.. |

| In the lower level we're keeping the family room, bedroom and bath in their existing locations, but adding the main entryway into the house where a mechanical/storage room currently exists. |
