Not much has happened yet. We're meeting with the architects on Thursday for our first real design meeting, and are looking forward to the fun part!
Today we closed on our permanent loan, which feels good. The bridge loan to buy at foreclosure comes in around 19% APR when you include fees, so it's just meant as a short-term bridge. Our lender originally thought it would take 60 days to get into the permanent loan, but it took 81 days.
We've also been reading about the new City of Seattle Energy Code that went into effect on Jan 1, 2011. There's not a lot of summary info available yet, but we do know they've really toughened up some items, and hope it doesn't throw a monkey wrench into our budget.
